- Rebuilt practice management for 587 clients and 10 staff: 3,172 writes with 0 failures. A dry run caught a mass error before it happened, turning 587 would-be payroll tasks into exactly 38.
- Audited 749 Xero sales invoices against the client records and surfaced 391 clients with no billing in 12 months.
- Trained the full team (10+ people) in an AI for Accountants session with live demos, backed by an 8-lesson AI Academy.
- Automated deal-to-invoice-to-payment from HubSpot to Xero for a software reseller across 3 legal entities and 4 currencies: live since April 2026, 212+ invoices under HMAC-signed approvals.
- Automated month-end prepayment journals for a tour operator, validated 107/107 against the bookkeeper's own entries, live daily since 16 Oct 2026.
- Productised a SEPA payment-file converter sold as a monthly subscription.

### Senior finance-ops AI engineer, Independent practice (Upwork)
- Built an EU-sovereign, multi-tenant financial reporting platform for the Dutch education sector with no US-owned service in the stack; designed the pilot across a bookkeeping firm, an audit firm and school boards, and raised the data processing agreements before anyone asked. Tenant isolation proven by tests (52/52 sign-in e2e, 5/5 RLS mutation tests); each phase at or under budget, the follow-on won at a fixed price.

- Led the ASF authorisation file and audit: penetration testing, the architecture review and the policy set the regulator examines (risk, complaints handling, conflicts of interest, business continuity, outsourcing).
- Automated KYC and AML onboarding on LemonWay under PSD2, with identity checks, bank linking and segregated fund flows: about 45 to 8 minutes per investor (internal measure).

## For partner firms (accounting practices, agencies, IT providers, consultancies)
For firms whose clients are small and mid-size businesses: accounting and bookkeeping practices, digital and marketing agencies, IT and managed-service providers, consultancies and software implementation partners. Adrian builds and runs the AI service line under your brand or alongside it: the automations your clients pay for, the systems behind them, the staff training and the controls your clients expect. The model is already live at an Irish chartered accountancy firm, where the service line went from no AI offer to a client platform, a published offer and an AI Academy.
Safeguards: EU-only AI processing, enforced in code: EU-hosted infrastructure and EU model endpoints with data caching disabled. A non-EU model is an opt-in fallback, never a silent one. An AML gate: a client account cannot be opened until the identity check is verified. An audit trail on every action: who uploaded, what the AI read, who approved and what was posted, with retention rules agreed in writing. Human approval before anything moves money or reaches a ledger. AI drafts; a person confirms. Numbers computed, words generated: fees, VAT and journals come from deterministic rules, and AI writes only the wording. Least-privilege access, tenant walls between clients, no model training on client documents, and a data processing agreement before the build.
